Upcycling beer waste to create new products

3-4 million tones of spent grain are produced in Europe each year due to the beer production. Even though there are interesting projects to revalue this waste to be used as animal food, fertilizer and so on we wanted to go even more to create more interesting products.

Therefore, in collaboration with some local brewing companies we we worked not only in the creation of a circular material using their spent grain, but also we designed sustainable furniture (like stools or chairs) and packaging usign this waste. In the near future, we will decline this material in biodegradable products for single-use tools and other cool things.
