Or how to give a second life to a waste who had none.

The food industry generates millions of tons of all kinds of waste and some of them do not have a clear way of being recycled. Cow horns are among those wastes that are difficult to recycle.

In collaboration with Authentic Material (a sustainable company and a major player in the field of circular materials for French luxury brands), we explore the best way to create a biopolymer based on horns. The objective of this project was the design of atypical products, using innovative technologies to be able to scale the solution industrially. The first prototype was a boomerang, made with thermoforming technology. This same material has been optimized for be used in other manufacturing technologies and, reaching levels of detail that are revolutionizing the world of luxury.
